Our Management Team

The Management Team under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer is charged by the Board to organise and control Youth Focus’s activities in pursuit of our vision and objectives.  Our Management Team is made up of:

Jenny Allen
Chief Executive Officer / Director
Jenny assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2000.  She offers a wealth of experience in the advocacy and promotion of mental health and she is passionate in helping children and young people to address mental health issues and achieve good mental well-being.  Jenny is also a Board member of Youth Focus, as well as Suicide Prevention Australia, the national peak body for suicide prevention.  She is actively involved in several committees including Economic Audit Committee Mental Health Outcomes Working Group and the Anti Stigma Campaign reference group formed by the Mental Health Commissioner.

Warren Mahoney
General Manager – Business
Warren’s role oversees revenue generation and business development on behalf of the organization. Since 2000 Warren has held senior management positions in the not for profit sector within 2 large national charities.

General Manager – Operations
This role is responsible for the overall delivery, development and growth of our mental health services to the Western Australian community.

Jane Forward
Manager Strategy
Jane plays a key role in the growth and development of the organisations service capacity.  Jane joined Youth Focus as the Services Manager in 2002 working to develop the organisations current service model.  Jane has played a leading role in the refinement of both the clinical and business models of Youth Focus.

Services Manager – Perth
This role provides supervision and support for our metropolitan based counselling team as well as our Youth Development Officer and Intake Officer. 

David Gagiero
Financial Controller
Davis is responsible for all of the finance and accounting functions within Youth Focus.  David brings extensive experience in finance and commerce to the organisation having worked in senior business roles in the financial services sector.

Melanie Wilshin
Events Manager
Melanie oversees all of Youth Focus’ events including key projects such as the Hawaiian Ride for Youth and the Night of Nights Ball.  Melanie brings to Youth Focus many years of experience in the events industry.


Erin Warren
Business Development Manager
Erin manages our existing corporate and community partnerships and well as exploring new revenue generating opportunities for the organisation. 

Mike Fitzpatrick
Training Manager
Mike oversees the delivery of our mental health training services which are aimed as educating and building capacity in the corporate, educational and community sectors.  Mike brings to Youth Focus 30 years experience in the field of learning & development.
