Our Executive Team

The Executive Team under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer is charged by the Board to organise and control Youth Focus’s activities in pursuit of our vision and objectives.  Our Executive Team is made up of:

Jenny Allen
Chief Executive Officer / Director
Jenny assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2000.  She offers a wealth of experience in the advocacy and promotion of mental health and she is passionate in helping children and young people to address mental health issues and achieve good mental well-being.  Jenny is also a Board member of Youth Focus, as well as Suicide Prevention Australia, the national peak body for suicide prevention.  She is actively involved in several committees including Economic Audit Committee Mental Health Outcomes Working Group and the Anti Stigma Campaign reference group formed by the Mental Health Commissioner.

Warren Mahoney
Business Manager
Warren’s role oversees revenue generation and business development on behalf of the organization. Since 2000 Warren has held senior management positions in the not for profit sector within 2 large national charities.

Nikki Marshall
Manager – Youth & Family Services
Nikki is a registered Psychologist and prior to her current role she was Senior Counsellor at Youth Focus for 2 years. Nikki developed a passion for suicide prevention while working as a School Psychologist in Kalgoorlie and she has gained significant operational experience both here and overseas.

David Gagiero
Financial Controller
David has held senior roles in major accounting firms including, most recently, five years as Vice President of one of the big 4 firms in Calgary, Canada. David brings with him extensive experience in finance, having worked in senior business roles with the National Australia Bank.

Jane Forward
Manager Strategy
Jane joined Youth Focus as the Services Manager in 2002 working to develop the organisations current service model.  Jane has played a leading role in the refinement of both the clinical and business models of Youth Focus, project managing the 2008 Action Research investigation and 2005 Focus on Youth Mental Health.
