Youth Focus Training and Education Programs cater for the needs of the community sector, education sector and the workplace with a wide range of topics designed to assist:
- People to identify any potential mental health issues, to address those issues and to develop the resilience to cope in the future; and
- Parents, employers, friends, workmates and others in the community to identify and assist with mental health issues people may be experiencing.
We provide training across all workplaces, in particular those that employ young people. We work with people with all levels of experience to increase mental health awareness in the workplace.
We also provide mental health training for individuals and groups in the community sector, and present at community forums.
The education sector has training provided across the whole school community. Forums and training are provided for parents and friends and training on mental health awareness is provided for teachers and support staff.
