Thank you for a successful Night of Nights!

This year the Night of Night's Ball held on Saturday 4th September was a huge success.  “A Night at the Colosseum” as it was themed at the Burswood Entertainment Complex was transformed into a spectacular Roman amphitheatre presenting guests with an enchanting night of fine dining, wine and entertainment.

The team at Youth Focus are currently finalising all proceeds raised from the night, and we expect it to be over $330,000 with the final figure to be announced soon.

Youth Focus’ “Night of Nights” Ball has been acclaimed as one of the top ten social events in Perth. Every year the Ball raises critical funds to assist Youth Focus in the continuation of our services to an increasing number of young people and their families who are dealing with suicidal ideation, depression and self harm.

We thank everyone who contributed their support to another successful event for Youth Focus and the people we assist and we look forward to a rewarding year to come.

At Youth Focus we recognise that there are a lot of different ways of doing things and that not everyone is the same. Ours services are flexible and accommodating and are available at our head office in Burswood or at outreach centres and at some schools. To talk to someone about our services please call Youth Focus between 9 and 5, Monday to Friday on 6266 4333 and ask for our Duty Officer. If it's difficult to call during these times, you can call later and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Or you can send an email to the Duty Officer.

If you decide that counselling may help, you will have your own Youth Counsellor who you can catch up with you on a one to one basis at a time and place that best suits you. All Youth Counselling is free and totally confidential. We like to meet you at our office but if that's  not possible we may see you at school, your home, a local café or park or anywhere that's agreed.

Our Family Counsellor is also available for counselling with you and your family. Family counselling can be with anyone you class as family - your eg: mum, dad, brother, sister, foster parent, person you live with. Family counselling aims to strengthen your relationship with your family and make things better at home.

We also run some great programs that vary depending on what you want. Our camps are a good place to get away from things for a couple of days, have heaps of fun, make new friends and are a chance to talk about problems you are having and what could be done about them. On camps we do stuff like ropes courses, arts, small groups discussions about what life is like for you, an entertainment night and relaxation.

Contact our Duty Officer to find out what programs are currently running or coming up soon.
