Join Youth Focus in marching in the PRIDE WA parade for the first time as an organisation on 30 November.
We invite all members of staff from Youth Focus and headspace, volunteers, ambassadors, Youth Reference Group members, and friends and family to join in marching to celebrate the LGBT+ community, show our love and support and join in the fun.
The theme this year is Reflect: Heroes, Community, Identity, Love.
The dress code for us all is to wear a (spare) white Youth Focus or headspace t-shirt if you have one, or a plain white t-shirt TIE DYED as colourful as you can and decorated otherwise in what PRIDE and the theme means to you.
As it is PRIDE WA’s 30th anniversary they feel it as an appropriate time to reflect on how far we’ve come and how much they’ve achieved as an LGBT+ community organisation, but also to reflect on how much further there is still to go before all are truly equal and free.
