Finding support for a young person

The mental health of young people is our highest priority – we aim to remove as many barriers as possible so they can access the support they need, when and where they need it. Young people are able to come to us with no formal referral or mental health care plan needed, and at no cost.

Who can access services at Youth Focus

  • Aged 12 to 25 years

We provide services for young people between the ages of 12 to 25 (inclusive).
  • Located within WA

Our services are available in a number of metropolitan and regional areas across WA, including in schools, online or by phone.
  • Ready to participate

We believe young people are the experts of their life. Requests on behalf of young people will only progress if the young person is aware, consenting and available to speak to our team.

What happens next?

Once a referral is made, we will be in touch with the young person directly to have an initial conversation about how our support might help them feel better than they do. Our team will re-connect with the referrer to update them on the outcome of the conversation, and to let them know if Youth Focus is the right service for them, and the next steps for the young person.
