headspace Northam’s Youth Voices hot off the press!

headspace Northam’s Youth Reference Group (YRG) has just published its first ever edition of Youth Voices, a magazine created for young people in the Wheatbelt. The magazine is an opportunity for young people to share their stories, passions and tips, including ways to support their mental health, local support services, an introduction of the headspace Northam team and more.

As well as offering a space to express and share stories, experiences and passions, the magazine aims to support young people become actively involved in their communities, collaborate with others, and make new friendships based off like-minded interests. From budgeting tips, to recipes, feature articles and local support services, this magazine is working towards the overall vision of helping young people thrive in their community.

Copies are being distributed to services and schools in the Northam and Wheatbelt area, with a second edition in production.

Huge congratulations to Paige, Nina and the headspace Northam YRG on creating such a community minded magazine. The team are busy putting together the second edition – if you are aged 12 – 25 living in the wheatbelt region (or know someone who is!), consider getting involved.
