We were proud to have representatives from our Albany, Manjimup, Northam, Midland and Geraldton headspace centres attending the 2026 headspace National Forum in Brisbane.
The theme Growing Together feels closely aligned to centres across WA, with our existing centres continuing to expand and headspace Manjimup opening soon. Over three days, our teams had the opportunity to listen to and engage with a range of individuals and organisations, offering us learnings, reflections and knowledge to bring back to our teams at home.

Some of our staff also shared their experience and expertise. headspace Northam showcased two of their community engagement initiatives – their youth ‘On Country’ excursions and the annual Youth Week celebration.
Emily Richards, Clinical Advisor at headspace Midland, was invited to participate in a panel discussion exploring anti-racism in everyday practice. With a room of over 250 people and more than 50 questions raised during the Q&A, it was clear this conversation struck a chord – and we are proud to have our team contributing to the discussion on these important conversations.
With headspace Manjimup opening soon, this was a unique opportunity for the team to learn and connect with the headspace community. Aly, our Senior Administrator, reflected on the experience:
“One of the biggest highlights was the strong sense of community. It was great to connect with others in the same or similar roles and have open, practical conversations about how things run day to day. Being able to share experiences and learn from each other made it feel very relevant and immediately applicable.
The breakout sessions allowed me to focus on areas that were directly relevant to my role, while also broadening my understanding of the wider service and allowing me to explore my personal interests. I came away with a clearer picture of what strong, consistent in-centre operations look like in practice and a stronger connection to the broader headspace network.”
