We are so excited to celebrate this incredibly well deserved accomplishment. As part of our headspace Northam team, Adrian connects with young people in the community with passion, dedication and authenticity. His role as the Aboriginal Youth Support Worker is so important, helping young people navigate their lifes well beyond just their mental health.

In addition to headspace Northam, Adrian works with Upskill Global as a mentor for Aboriginal programs in partnership with atWork, where he supports mob with mental health, employment opportunities, and overcoming barriers to success. In everything he does, Adrian is passionate about supporting his people and creating positive pathways for Aboriginal communities.

It’s not just young people he supports, Adrian is actively engaged with local Elders and community members through cultural activities, including tours at Bilya Koort Boodja, cultural performances, and community leadership initiatives. Adrian leads the Menang Traditional Dance Group on Menang Country, sharing and celebrating Noongar culture through dance performances and workshops across the Great Southern region. He takes great pride in carrying forward the cultural knowledge and traditions passed down through his family and Elders.

Mr and Miss NAIDOC is a Empowerment and Leadership program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 18-30. Being part of the 2026 Mr NAIDOC Program is an opportunity for Adrian to continue learning, growing as a leader, and strengthening his connection to culture and community. He hopes to inspire younger generations, particularly within his own family, and continue building a legacy that honours those who came before him.
