From 24 to 28 March 2026, the Hawaiian Ride for Youth brought together 170 riders and support crew who visited 16 schools, reaching hundreds of young people across the Great Southern and South West. School visits across the Coastal, Inland and Wheatbelt routes once again made a powerful difference, sparking meaningful conversations and encouraging young people to seek support when they need it.
Together, this incredible community raised more than $2.1 million in 2026, bringing the total funds raised over the Ride’s 24 year history to over $38 million. These funds have made a significant difference to Youth Focus and the young people it supports.
Thank you to the many individuals and businesses who supported this year’s event, including our amazing naming rights partner, Hawaiian, who supports the Ride in so many ways. And of course, thank you to the leaders in our Ride community who made it all possible – the volunteer Organising Committee members, Ride Directors and Ride Leads, coaches and team captains.
From a meaningful community welcome event in Albany, to evening dinners filled with entertainment and camaraderie, as well as a special visit to the new headspace Manjimup and community events along the way, this year’s Ride was especially memorable.
It also required resilience and adaptability, with unforeseen changes to the event due to unexpected weather from Cyclone Narelle. Despite these challenges, the spirit of the Ride remained as strong as ever. We are so grateful to the riders, 2 Day Challengers and support crew, as well as our sponsors, whose understanding and support reflected a deep commitment to the Ride’s purpose.
In 2027, the Hawaiian Ride for Youth will celebrate its 25th anniversary, with dates and more exciting announcements coming soon.
