To recognise World Suicide Prevention Day, the Northam team came together to light a candle at headspace Northam as part of Holyoake’s Light the Night campaign. Light the Night is a powerful collective act – a reminder that no one has to face the darkness alone, and together we can shine a light on hope and recovery.

Tasmin, Community Engagement Officer in Northam, created a beautiful chalk mural outside of headspace, reminding anyone who walked past that they matter, and together we can shine a light on hope and recovery.
Light the Night represents a strong message of connection and offers young people a symbol of change, as candles and lights appeared throughout the Wheatbelt it’s a visual reminder of the shift in our communities from silence and stigma to openness, empathy, and action.
