Friday 3rd October | 10am–1pm | Albany Town Square
Hosted by headspace Albany

The beloved Mad Hatter Tea Party returns once again – and in 2025, it takes on a proud new role as the official launch of WA Mental Health Week.

This free, family-friendly event brings the community together to celebrate mental health awareness through connection, creativity, and conversation. The event has been a valuable opportunity to unite in celebrating mental health awareness, connecting families and community members with the local mental health organisations.

At the Town Square you can expect more than 20 stalls with free, interactive activities, live performances, games, face painting, and free food including a sausage sizzle and cupcakes. As always, we look forward to the event highlight – Best Hat Parade & Competition.

This year marks a major milestone with the Western Australian Association for Mental Health partnering to launch WA Mental Health Week 2025 from the Mad Hatter event. It’s a proud moment for regional WA and we’d love the community to join us for the biggest Tea Party yet!

It’s a fun and inclusive way to promote mental wellbeing, break stigma, and highlight the strength of regional WA.
