A three-day designer pop-up was held recently at Shenton College, raising funds for two local causes: Youth Focus and Homeless Healthcare. We were grateful to be the beneficiary of the funds raised over the three days while Homeless Healthcare received the unpurchased clothing at the end of the event.

This is the second year we have been chosen as a beneficiary of this event which has just celebrated 12 years of operation. Each year, Meredith Eddington puts together the three-day fundraiser, leading a team of volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Thank you, Meredith, for the time and care taken into putting the event together, and to the volunteers who engaged with visitors on the day – making sure everyone walked away with a great outfit (or two!), knowing they were supporting a good cause.
Thanks also to the volunteers who helped out in the lead-up, getting everything sorted and ready.
We have a school-based counsellor supporting students at Shenton College, and it’s exciting to see the community getting behind youth mental health in this way. Events like this offer more than funds raised, it’s an opportunity to start a conversation and raise awareness about mental health support and services available for young people in the area.
Thanks to everyone who came along, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word.
