Last week we attended the launch of the State Government’s Youth Participation Kit.
Developed in consultation with the Ministerial Youth Advisory Council (MYAC), the kit includes advice, tools and guidance for both young people and organisation to help maximise young people’s input and contributions to community life.
We are very proud to have our Youth Panel Discussion featured as a case study in the kit as an example of how to amplify and empower young people’s voices. It was wonderful to have members of the headspace Midland Youth Reference Group and Our Place Youth Committee join us at the launch, and have the opportunity to talk with other young people, MYAC members and sector and Government representatives.
