On August 27th, a group of dedicated miners are embarking on a unique fundraiser to support youth mental health.
Venturing into the rugged Australian bush, these miners are not just seeking to prove their mettle but are also aiming to raise vital funds for Youth Focus, to enable us to provide support services to young Western Australians.
Seven people and a guide, all from the Western Australian mining industry, will be dropped off by helicopter in the Kimberley, with only survival equipment and limited supplies, to trek for four days through the Australian north.
Created and organised by a group of mining executives who are passionate about giving back and social impact.
Inspired by the community spirit within the mining sector, this event aims to generate significant support for Youth Focus, helping to ensure young people in Western Australia have access to the mental health resources they need to thrive. We’re very proud to be a beneficiary of Miner v Wild.
