Great Southern – Community Based Youth Support Program (CYSP)

Supporting young people with free, face-to-face mental health services across the Great Southern

Youth Focus is proud to deliver the Community Based Youth Support Program (CYSP), designed to make it easier for young people across the Great Southern region to access specialist mental health support close to home.

What is the CYSP?

The CYSP is a free mental health support service for young people aged 12 to 25 years, offering face-to-face counselling and school-based support. The program is delivered by a community-based mental health specialist practitioner who travels across the region to work directly with young people and their families in their own communities.

This service is based at headspace Albany and extends throughout the region, helping to reduce the need for long-distance travel and removing common barriers to accessing mental health support in regional areas.
