Experienced director and senior leader Derry Simpson has joined Youth Focus as its Chief Executive Officer.
Derry brings a wealth of skills to Youth Focus, including strategy, communications, and governance. She has a passion for equity and inclusion, and a strong understanding of youth mental health.
Derry is dedicated to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for young people and is looking forward to being part of achieving the organisation’s vision.
Derry joins WA’s leading youth mental-health provider at an exciting time. With a new strategic plan in development, and Heiko Plange-Korndoerfer having stepped into the role of Chief Development Officer in December 2022, Derry and Heiko will bring a sense of energy and dynamism to the executive leadership team.

Youth Focus helps support young people who experience mental health challenges to thrive in their community. Youth Focus delivers services and programs for people aged 12 to 25 that are tailored specifically for young people.
