To celebrate Youth Week, headspace Geraldton teamed up with other local organisations to host the Foreshore Youth Festival!
It was a great opportunity for young people to connect with the Gero team as well as Geraldton Sporting AC Gcas, City of Greater Geraldton, WAAC, Ngala Midwest & Gascoyne, Desert Blue Connect, Fusion Geraldton, Geraldton PCYC, the Community Police and Centacare Family Services. There was live music, games, art and a barbecue.
In keeping with the theme ‘becoming: with others we dream’, there was reflection on the sentiment that to become in the world, you have to dream with others. Actions and achievements of the individual are nothing without the context of their community.
