The school visits are one of the most important aspects of Ride Week and are always a highlight for those involved. The information evening will provide you with the skills and knowledge on how to safely share your stories with students and include a Q&A session with young people to help you target your presentation better.
Please note if you are interested in presenting at a school during Ride week, attendance at the information evening is compulsory.
The aim of the school visits is to:
1) Promote positive mental health;
2) Communicate to the students that we can all struggle at times, but things can and do get better;
3) Improve the students ability to recognise when they or their peers are struggling, and;
4) Increase the likelihood that students will seek help.
